Exterior Main Components

Landscape, Decking, Driveway & Walks:
  • All area’s disturbed will be fine graded with loam and hydroseeded on main area’s and wood chips will be installed as needed. Both loam and woodchips installation is determined by site work and will vary from site to site

  • Decks, porches, stairs and rails: will be trex or other name brand composite materials

  • Walkways: poured in place concrete from entry stairs to driveway

  • Driveway: is to be a 2” thick layer of binder course bituminous payment as shown on plan.

 

Siding, Trim, Roofing & Framing:
  • All framing material are to be #2 KD or better

  • Exterior walls are to be 2x6 with interior walls 2x4

  • LVL will be used according to the design of the structural engineer and the design will be certified

  • First floor framing will be a combination of I-joist and conventional lumber and will be installed according to plan

  • Sub flooring will be ¾” tongue and grooved OSB glued and nailed 

  • Roof is a engineered truss system with some conventional framing as needed and is specified on the plan

  • Trim, fascia and soffits will be a combination of PVC and vinyl  screwed and bunged for very limited maintenance by the homeowner
